Can I keep WhatsApp and my home number?

Yes. Keep your home SIM enabled for calls and bank verification texts, and use the travel eSIM for data. WhatsApp keeps your existing number. Turn off data roaming and automatic data switching for your home SIM; your home carrier may still charge for calls or SMS.

When should I install and activate it?

Install over reliable Wi-Fi before leaving. Activation rules depend on the selected plan: some start on installation, others on first connection at the destination. Read the instructions delivered with your eSIM before installing. Setup time depends on your phone and connection.

Does it include a phone number or 5G?

These travel plans provide data. Use WhatsApp, FaceTime or other internet calling apps. 5G/LTE availability depends on your device, local coverage and the purchased package; network names are shown on each plan.

What if I run out of data?

Open My eSIM to check the remaining data and compatible top-ups. Where supported, a paid top-up adds data to the same eSIM. If no top-up is available, choose a new plan.

What if the eSIM will not connect?

Check you are in a covered country, select the eSIM for mobile data and enable its data roaming. Follow any APN instructions in your order. Keep the eSIM installed and contact support with the order ID if you still need help. See the terms for refund eligibility.
